Our Mission

Creating a groundbreaking network of youth mental health centers that are thoughtfully crafted by and for young individuals, aiming to diminish stigma, foster mental well-being, strengthen community ties, and offer culturally-tailored services.

What do we do ? We offer services tailored to young adults aged 14 to 24, supporting them on their path towards self-sufficiency and independence. We understand that this transition to adulthood can be a formidable journey, especially for youth encountering a multitude of challenges such as housing instability, educational hurdles, mental health concerns, substance abuse issues, and limited access to resources. Our mission is to provide a holistic and youth-focused approach, dedicated to assisting young individuals in skillfully maneuvering through this pivotal phase of their lives.


Mental Health counseling

Online or in-person, this is designated for young people to process and explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions. Get the information or treatment you may need to navigate the complexities of alcohol and substance addiction through counseling or peer support groups. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Emotional and Physical Health

Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms or other physical symptoms. This does not include talk therapy.

Peer Support

We provide services that enable you to connect with peers who share your age and have personally experienced the challenges you are facing. They can offer valuable insights and support to help you navigate through these experiences and make sense of it all. CalHope, the web- and app-based platforms offer all California families free one-on-one support with a live wellness coach, a library of multimedia resources, wellness exercises, and peer communities moderated by trained behavioral health professionals !

Education and Career Development

Housing Assistance

Life Skills Training

We provided assistance with enrolling in educational programs, homework assistance, referral and help with tutoring services, and exploring career pathways. We offer job readiness training, resume building, interview preparation.

Assistance with securing safe and stable housing, including transitional housing options and support for those experiencing homelessness .

Our regular workshops focus on equipping individuals with essential life skills that are crucial for personal growth and success. These workshops cover a wide range of topics, including:

Financial Literacy: Participants learn the fundamentals of managing their finances, including budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding financial institutions. Communication Skills: Effective communication is a cornerstone of success in both personal and professional life. Our workshops teach essential communication skills, such as active listening, effective verbal and non-verbal communication, and conflict resolution. Cooking: Cooking workshops provide hands-on experience in meal preparation, teaching participants how to plan and cook nutritious and delicious meals. Time Management: Time management workshops help individuals become more organized and efficient in managing their daily tasks and responsibilities. Participants learn how to prioritize, set goals, and make the most of their time.
